But later is was clear she was sitting on eggs.




As usual Avocets are extraordinary protective of their space. The Turnstones and a Pied Wagtail had a hard time from them

Absolute emotion in action. - Get out of here!

A particularly fine, summer plumage Turnstone. (Arenaria interpres) turning stones this morning amongst a small party.
