Two youngster with the adult. Screaming for food! This all occurred within about three minutes.
The adult flew off closely followed by the youngsters.

But later is was clear she was sitting on eggs.
As usual Avocets are extraordinary protective of their space. The Turnstones and a Pied Wagtail had a hard time from them
